Therapy and counseling Services
A Pediatric Therapy Clinic
Current Availability for New Clients:
Current Occupational or feeding therapy wait time: 3-5 months if available for day time appointments. 6-9 months if after school appointments needed.
Current Speech wait time: 3-6 months if available for day time appointments. Due to length of waitlist, we are no longer adding clients to the after school speech therapy waitlist.
To be added to the waiting list, complete “new client paperwork” and we will reach out when we have availability.
In 2023, we provided $229,215 in uncompensated therapy services to those who needed it. We appreciate your support as we continue to provide these services.
Individualized Therapy
for Lasting Results
First and foremost, we are therapists passionate about helping those in our community. At our Camp Hill pediatric therapy clinic, we provide evidence-based occupational, speech, and specialized feeding therapy interventions to children and young adults in the Harrisburg area.
Our approaches are not “quick fixes,” but are individually designed and guided by research for lasting results. Evidence and enthusiasm shape our individual therapy sessions, as well as our group enrichment programs.
Founded by an autistic occupational therapist, our organization utilizes neurodiversity-affirming approaches which respect the autonomy and individuality of our clients.
What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Since the early 1900’s, occupational therapy as a field has worked to improve physical, emotional, and mental health so that clients may fully participate in all of life’s activities.
What does this look like? In our pediatric occupational therapy clinic, this takes the shape of helping a child eat or get dressed independently, understand their sensory needs, and so much more.
We first recognize each client’s unique obstacles, then guide the client through, over, or around them to live life to the fullest.
Building a Brighter, Vibrant Community
Ultimately, a brighter community is our goal. We believe that a community is only as vibrant as its members and the relationships between them.
In individual therapy services, our goal is to empower clients to reach their highest potential. Our group programs aim to build relationships alongside individual skills.
We at TCS, a nonprofit organization, strive to use our programming to create a better community for all.
What we do
Simply put, we are pediatric occupational and speech therapy providers with the single purpose of supporing kids and families so that their tomorrows are better than their yesterdays.
To achieve this, we provide individualized, affirming therapeutic interventions as well as inclusive group programs.
Both private and group programs are held at our clinic, off Carlisle Pike in Camp Hill. This thoroughly modernized and accessible facility features a variety of therapy and activity rooms as well as a specialized sensory gym. We are also able to offer services via telehealth.
Our services
Evidence and enthusiasm shape our individual therapy sessions and our group enrichment programs.
Individual Therapy
Your child is unique. In 1-on-1 therapy, we explore your child’s specific strengths and challenges. We learn who they are, what they like, what drives them, and what their frustrations are. Then, using evidence-based strategies, we design a customized treatment plan to help them achieve their goals.
Community Programs
We have all heard the saying that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. We believe that without cohesion, even the strongest links will never create a chain. Our community programs build stronger links and bind them together to ultimately strengthen the chain of our community. Programs consist of inclusive, small groups focusing on improving individual skills while building connections and understanding. Best of all, they’re fun, engaging and interactive!
